Internal combustion engine is the main source of power in modern cars, buses, motorcycles as well as other vehicles.
Modern car engines usually use on of three types of fuel: petrol, diesel or a combination of gas and petrol.
Engines may also differ in working size (measured in cm3 or litres), number of cilinders and their placement. Depending on these, torque and power (measured in horse power or kW) will also differ.
The car engine is usually controled by the car computer and directly connects to many other parts of the car.
It is very important to take proper care of the engine by changin oil and filters on time as well as doing periodic checks.
